Gabrielle Wortman (born March 25, 1989) is an alternative rock musician from the United States. Her debut album, entitled Home Is Where The Art Is, was independently released in May 2009 and captured the attention of fans and critics across the globe, earning her a 2009 Los Angeles Music Awards nomination for "AAA Album of the Year". The major breakthrough in Gabrielle's career came with her second release, The Voodoo EP, on April 13, 2011, which catapulted her into the #1 position on the Reverbnation.com "What' Hot" Chart for a seven consecutive days and garnered her international praise form critics and publications. The first single off the EP, "Don't Let Me Lose Control" received a 2011 Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination for "Alternative Song of the Year" while its music video was also nominated for "Music Video of the Year" making Gabrielle the only artist to be nominated in two separate categories.

(Popstar.com) She is also a producer and continues to coproduce her own songs as well as collaborate on remixes and songwriting with other artists.
Beginning as a classically trained pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, Gabrielle has been making beautiful sound for over fifteen years. New York City born and Connecticut bred, Gabrielle now brings her authentic flavor to the streets of Los Angeles. From the live front, Gabrielle has played for audiences of up to 8500. Her performance in UCLA's 2009 Spring Sing won her the "Bruin's Choice Award" as well as "Best Production". Gabrielle's debut album, "Home Is Where The Art Is", was nominated for AAA Album of the Year by the Los Angeles Music Awards that same year. The debut album, though independently released, has sold over 10,000 copies and gained her worldwide recognition from press and fans. Named "One to Watch in 2009" by College New Magazine, "Diamond in the Rough" by 101 Distribution, and an Honorable Mention for the Mike Pinder Songwars Songwriting Contest, Gabrielle continues to add press and critics to her growing fan base.
In 2011, Gabrielle teamed up with Navajas to produce her second studio release, The Voodoo EP. The EP's first single, "Don't Let Me Lose Control", experienced international airplay on terrestrial and internet stations, earning itself a spot on "One to Watch" charts of the Clear Channel's iHeartRadio stations, as well as national attention from press. In April 2011, Gabrielle Wortman worked with director Michael Bromberg and producer Nick Horowitz for her the official "Don't Let Me Lose Control" music video. The video, which has subsequently been programmed for Fuse, VH1, and MTV, has been revered for its "striking" visuals and "stimulating experience" by CeleBuzz.com and has been praised as depicting "urban decay amongst a pure backdrop of nature" during a Popstar.com article. Both the song and the video received 2011 Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominations. Wortman has been performing tirelessly with her band since 2010. The band's concerts include festivals such as 2011 Seattle Pridefest, 2011 Women of Substance Radio Showcase, and Los Angeles's infamous Hotel Cafe nightclub. She is currently working on her second full-length album.
